A tribute to Condoleeza Rice and George W. Bush who, despite voluminious evidence to the contrary, said, "I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile," adding that "even in retrospect" there was "nothing" to suggest that" and "I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees," respectively.

When Bush wielded the first presidential veto of his tenure on a bill that would have provided federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, he had a bit of a ceremony. At that ceremony were parents and their "Snowflake" children. Snowflakes are children who were adopted as frozen embryos instead of being discarded or left frozen. Although this photo is somewhat lacking, it does it appear that Snowflake families have one common characteristic; they are all white. As some have noted, certain restrictions may be placed on adopting families such as race, religion, and political views. It would be interesting to know what criteria was used in these Snowflake adoptions given the commonality of skin color.
