Three years ago, this article appeared in the Chicago Tribune and it is as relevant today as it was then.

With the latest chickenhawk attack on a decorated war veteran , John Murtha, the GOP slime machine rolls on. This is a party that actively attempts to stifle debate. Any critic is dealt with harshly and dishonestly. They are corrupt to the core and one has to start to wonder how they maintain the allegiance of the rank and file.
