A tribute to Condoleeza Rice and George W. Bush who, despite voluminious evidence to the contrary, said, "I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile," adding that "even in retrospect" there was "nothing" to suggest that" and "I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees," respectively.

JEFF GANNON RESIGNS: SEEDY UNDERBELLY OF RIGHT-WING PROPAGANDA MACHINE EXPOSED. MAJOR MEDIA IGNORES STORY!
Once again the mainstream media sits on the sidelines while intrepid bloggers do their work for them. This site was one of the first to question Jeff Gannon's credentials (see Jan. 26 & 27) even though I have limited resources and as much background in investigative journalism as say, Mr. Gannon. So, dems will no longer be Gannon-Fodder thanks to BuzzFlash, Atrios, Media Matters and assorted independent bloggers. All Mr. Gannon has to look forward to now is some sort of payback job or perhaps a Medal of Freedom.
One has to wonder whether junior will call him a "great American" as he did Rush when the allegations concerning drug addiction, doctor shopping, clandestine drug purchases and money laundering surfaced.
